Is your budget the purchase price, or everything including tax and fees? For a non-resident buyer at this level stamp duty alone runs to roughly £1.0M–£1.15M, so an all-in budget of USD 10M buys a property of about £6.39M, not £7.87M. The answer moves the target by well over a million pounds, and it is the first thing we will ask.
